The Inferno is based on our Superlite aluminum receiver equipped with an integral Weaver style scope mount, with a carbon fiber THM Tension Barrel threaded into the receiver. The THM barrel provides the performance of a stainless steel bull barrel for about half the weight.
Then, the barreled action is fitted into a specially designed, CNC machined aluminum stock that looks unlike any other stock on the planet. The Inferno stock is ultimate in comfort and performance. This unique stock’s light weight design plus its’ adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull makes it an absolute joy to shoot.
Because the stock is aluminum, we can anodize it in several different colors including blue, red, black or silver. Custom colors are also available. Of course, the Inferno also features all of Volquartsen’s performance-enhancing goodies including our world famous TG2000 trigger group, our CNC machined bolt and hardened EDM extractor. Optionally, you can order a special Leupold scope, straight from the Leupold custom shop, specially anodized to match the color of your Inferno.
